• An event coordinator brings together all event details in the weeks leading up to the event and executes them on the day-of. Coordinators are boots on the ground: they arrive early to accept deliveries, they facilitate vendor set-up, they troubleshoot/resolve issues throughout the duration of the event, and they assist in efficient clean-up following the event.

  • Yes! An event planner assists in arranging the event details in the years/months leading up to the event. Often, this role can be played by the event host themselves. An event coordinator executes all details on the day of your event. However, you will work with the event coordinator ~6 weeks prior to your event to finalize the details/day-of checklist.

    For example, an event planner might help you select and order table linens for your event. An event coordinator will consult with the linen vendor on delivery logistics, ensure the order is accurate on arrival, lay the linens evenly, steam out wrinkles from delivery, and ensure the linens are properly sent back with the proper protocol following the event.

  • Coordinators help event host/s and their family/friends feel like event guests. Coordinators are focused on executing every detail to perfection, letting you take a step back and enjoy your moment.

  • In theory, yes. However, vendors often do not have the time, resources or know-how to handle your event with ‘white glove service.’ Coordinators go beyond delivery and pick up to ensure your event aligns with your vision. Additionally, should issues arise, a coordinator will handle it instead of the host needing to take time away from the event to address it.

  • Pricing is dependent on 3 key details - the type of event, the number of guests, and the number of vendors needing facilitation. Bluebird will work with you and deliver custom pricing based on your event needs/wants following consultation.

  • The $50 fee is to cover time and prep work associated with the consult (as there is no obligation to contract Bluebird based on a consult). Following your consultation, Bluebird will prepare a custom checklist based on your event needs/wants. You will be able to pick and choose the services from this checklist you wish Bluebird to assist you with, and that will be developed into a finalized contract. Upon contracting Bluebird, the consult fee will be credited towards your final invoice.
